They’re three parts of the same feature and people use them interchangeably, so: Power Spots are the locations that glow on your map and give off Max Particles. A Max Battle is the fight you take on at one. Dynamax and Gigantamaxdescribe the Pokémon — Gigantamax being the rarer form with its own appearance. This page lists live Power Spots, so you can go and do a Max Battle.
Because a countdown would be made up. Unlike a raid, a Power Spot doesn’t publish its own expiry — our sources report when the boss rotationends, which can be tonight or months away. Rather than dress that up as a per-spot timer, we show “Active”, and only display a countdown when the window genuinely closes within a day. Niantic’s own wording is that Power Spots “may not stay in the same location for long”, so treat any entry as a strong lead rather than a guarantee.
That’s the rotation doing its job — Niantic features a small set of Dynamax bosses at a time, so one species genuinely can be thousands of the live spots. Use the boss chips at the top to jump straight to the one you want, or filter by tier.
